: A Unique Mott Hubbard Insulator
We discuss the recently discovered system , a realization
of an exactly solvable model proposed two decades earlier. We propose its
interpretation as a Mott Hubbard insulator. The possible superconducting phase
arising from doping is explored, and its nature as well as its importance for
testing the RVB theory of superconductivity are discussed.Comment: 18 pages,7 figures, Based on Invited Talk at 16th Nishinomiya Yukawa

Growth Elasticity of poverty in the globe
This paper highlights the global economic prosperity and portrays the anatomy of poverty in developing countries. It analyses the incidence of rural and urban poverty persisting in fourteen countries including India. It address the contradiction of coexistence of poverty and hyper economic growth in the globe. It is found that the growth elasticity of poverty is very low in developing countries. It argues that economic growth process can be inclusive and sustainable only by curbing the process of marginalization, corruption and exploitationgrowth Elasticity, Poverty ,Asia, Europe
Finiteness of the number of compatibly-split subvarieties
We show that for a Frobenius split variety, there are only finitely many
closed subvarieties which are compatibly-split.Comment: 3 page
